Ouch. I love watching him on my old, crappy rear projection beast. I can mute him and he is just blurry and blob-like.

How about you turn the channel to watch someone who has more hair. Don’t forget Bowl season is about to start soon and Monday Night Football will end. It’s week 15 ya know.

I just spit my coffee on my computer screen thanks to your question. No, don’t get rid of your plasma HDTV. But make sure you steer clear of Sunday Night football (ahem, John Madden, ’nuff said) and Monday Night football (for reasons you already identified).

Seriously, don’t be put off by Kornheiser. You said you bought the TV for the FOOTBALL, not for Tony’s camera time.
So when his face is being shown, just look away. It’s not like he’s in the picture for the whole game, and it’s only one game a week during the regular season!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain (plasma)…
I’m having a hard time watching Norv Turner closeups during Charger games.
You can always lower resolution to 480p in pillar, and take more bathroom breaks.
Or, use the HDDVR, trail the game by a minute or two and fast forward past the icky parts… like a horror movie.

I’m glad to hear that I am not the only one who thinks it is not just bad enough to hear that guys whine- “girly”- nails on a chalk board- voice in my surround system, but to also see his mug in High-def ***** just as bad!

Watch him on the standard version channel. He looks kind of blurry that way….like you’re watching a bad dream.
