How do i hook up an xbox to a 50 inch plasma hdtv with direct tv?

   The plugs are actually color coated so that shouldnt be a problem, it’s a very easy set up. Yeah you will have to switch to a Av channel every time you want to play

   There are a few options to consider. I’m assuming that your TV has more than one HDMI port, as most newer models do. Also, most newer DTV and Xboxes have HDMI ports.

   The best option is to have your DTV box on one HDMI cable, and your XBox on another. Plug each into a seperate HDMI port. This will allow you to select a different source, usually on your remote.

   Please elaborate on how you currently have your TV/DTV Box/Xbox seup…or the models of TV/DTV and I can help further.
