to do that your computer has to have a special outlet for a cable you have to run to your tv, if the computer is more than 5 years old, it most likely wont have the outlet

Yes you can. You will need a video out card for your PC with an S-VIDEO jack. You can get a card for about $40-$80.
The video card will NOT handle the audio. You will need a cable that plugs into the speaker out on the PC and has RCA on the other end for the TV. You can buy the card just about any where that sells computers. You can get the audio cable at radioshack or a similiar store.
