superseiyan asked: The wall is drywall. I have the mount, and the mount came with tools, used the stud finder and everything was going well until we drilled and discovered it was a metal stud. I’ll have to make adjustments: 1) Should the metal be drilled through? 2) What parts do I need? and 3) Should I ever need to remove the TV and the mount, is it relatively straightforward to “repair” the wall (I know there’ll be a little damage). I’d like to put up the TV though. Cheers,

im.drew asked: I just got a new 42” Phillips Plasma TV. I have a sony surround sound system that I would like to hook up to it. The plasma tv has a jack called SPDIF Output. The surround sound system requires a Left and Right audio input. The problem is that the tv only has that ONE jack for output and the surround sound system requires TWO. I purchased a cord that you can hook up to one jack and it has 2 RCA jack female parts. I hooked my 2 audio cords into this and it still doesn’t work. Maybe the cord that I purchased to make it into TWO jacks doesn’t work for audio. Can anyone tell me how to hook up surround sound to an SPDIF output jack!!

Starboy* asked: I’m looking forward to getting a new Plasma HDTV for Christmas!
I have about $3000 to invest and a 42″ Full HD TV would be the perfect match.
I’m going to watch DVDs and Blurays on it, and hook up my PS3!
Do you have any recommendations?
I’ve already looked into some Pioneer Kuro models, but they don’t seem to have Full HD for the 42″ TVs!

rizopas88 asked: We just bought a new tv and when we run it through our dvr/cable box the sound isn’t very loud, when we play video games though the sound is perfect. We are connecting the tv to the dvr via a basic cable connection. Should we go and buy hdmi connectors to connect the dvr to the tv?

Tom H asked: I have had the scroll since day one and cannot get rid of it. I recently put in a very expensive surge protector thinking it would help and the scroll is still there. It’s not a very heavy line, but it is noticible. The scroll always starts at the bottom and goes to the top. HELP!!!
